What are your favourite social media mobile apps for your smartphone or tablet? Mobile apps for social marketing and social networks are coming on the scene a blinding speed. So much so, it’s nearly impossible to keep up with the growing numbers of smartphone apps for social media. We’re going to share a few of our favourites and we’d love for you to share your favourites in the comments below.
On-the-Go Audience
It’s no secret that your business’s target audience is connecting with mobile devices. And here at Socialface, we’ve shared mobile marketing information on everything from Facebook mobile advertising to choosing between Instagram or Vine for your social media strategy. For this blog post, we are just going to share some fun, useful, social media marketing apps for mobile devices.
Making News
The worldwide audience is turning to social media as its main source of news. What if there was a cool mobile app that could pull from social networks like Twitter and Facebook along with other online sources, grabbing the types of news you wanted to read? Well, there is one and that app is called Lifehack.
Filtering Facebook
Have you ever wanted to create your own social network but really didn’t want to have to learn to code or spend millions upon millions of dollars creating it? Use kleek to create your own private social network within Facebook. This mobile app lets you filter your Facebook news feed and customise the information you receive.
Get Things Done
Are you one of the many Android smartphone or iPhone users who can’t function without productivity apps? Well, one way to keep all your cool social network content organised – so you can be more productive – is Flipboard. This multimedia mobile app allows you to connect with up to 12 social channels like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. and organise content in a cool, magazine-like layout.
Walk This Way
Each of us must walk our own path in life. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t share all the things we encounter along the way. If you use the mobile-based social network Path, then you can share those moments with up to 150 of your closest friends. And if you don’t want to leave all your other friends out, you can push your “moments” out to other social networks like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Foursquare.
Moving Pictures
Yes, we know that Twitter has Vine and Instagram added video to its mobile app. However, there are other mobile apps that shoot video and allow you to share that video content. One that we like is Viddy. This video app lets you shoot video up to 15 seconds long, add special effects and filters, and then share your moving pictures to your favourite social networks.
Please add to our list of social media mobile apps in the comments below. We’d love to see your suggestions!
