Discover What’s Fresh on the Social Media Shelves Right Now

What’s fresh on the social media shelves these days?  It can be hard to keep up with everything that’s new in social marketing.  Whether we’re talking new features for Facebook or Twitter, or a new mobile application that helps you manage your social networks or share your content with your social community, it’s nearly impossible to keep up with the changing landscape.

Helping Hand

As usual, you can count on us to lend a helping hand.  We may not clue you in on each and every new thing going on in the world of social media marketing.  However, you can count on us to give you just enough knowledge to help you grow your business and improve your social media strategy.  So, if you are ready, let’s get to it!

Let’s Get Personal

Are you using LinkedIn to expand your network of contacts and grow your business?  If so, you may have noticed a few new features lately.  In keeping with its goal to create a more productive and personalised experience, LinkedIn added the “Who’s Viewed Your Updates” and “You Recently Visited” features on your personal home page.  These are excellent ways to follow-up on conversations and leads or to make new business connections.

Moving Pictures

If you haven’t heard that Instagram recently added video to the photo-sharing social mobile app, then you might live somewhere where there is no social media.  And in that case, why are you reading this blog post in the first place?  Back to the subject at hand, Instagram video is a hit with the majority of top brands.  What does that mean?  Well, that means your business should follow suit.

Fancy Facebook Features

Facebook is known to roll out new features faster than you can count on us pouring a glass of wine at five-o’clock on Friday (well, most any day actually).  We recently talked about Facebook hashtags in a blog post.  The latest updates include a more user-friendly Facebook insights, an ability to comment on posts with a photo (*note – this soon disappeared from business pages but still exists on personal accounts.), and a feature allowing Facebook for business pages to sort comments by recent activity.

So there you have it, your fresh new social media marketing features to help you build on your successful social marketing strategy.  Do you have any news you would like to share?  We invite you to do so in our comments below.
